Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me?
so my Skype although I had turned up auto updates managed to update this morning to the latest version. firstly what a crock of shite, secondly my scripts aren't working what so ever. is there any scripts for this or is there anyway I can configure Skype to be workable or somewhere I can download a couple of versions previous. cheers
Joe
Joe, just google for the scripts and a site should come up with the new scripts and all of the older skype scripts. On my apex, so can't give you the site now, but i'm sure someone else will post here after me.
yeah done that thank you Lakeria, just now need to turn off all the extra dribble when reading messages from such and such on this date and time. pressing f2 with no luck, any idea's anyone?
I think a lot of the info you'll need (especially for turning off time stamps) is in the board topic called "Skype 6.9".
awww, is mas complaining? poor thing!
meh, don't see whats wrong with skype really, and i don't use scripts.
Yes,on Skype 6.9 you'll find the information.
just use gw connect I never use the official Skype client anymore because of all the changes
so if you want to use dug's scripts and uninstall freedom's sripts for scripts for jaws15, can you do this ? and if so, how.
You install Doug's on top. No uninstall of Freedom's scripts is necessary since Doug's are placed in your user directory.
ok thanks. i know i like dugs better.
yeah this version seem to be working very well. tried alsorts to try and rid myself of this dreadful time stamp thing how ever and it's not going anywhere.
I'd remove the Jaws scripts if I wanted to. It is really easy, because they are in your program files.
If running Win 7 or 8 you'll see an uninstaller. If you don't want to look, simply run the new Jaws script installer and it will tell you there is a copy of the scripts, and that you need to uninstall them.
It will remove them from all versions. Stop at that point and don't continue after it is finished.
Looks like Skype will remain. I contacted Microsoft directly, and Skype as we know and love is here to stay.
